Terms of Business:
Please be advised that no advice can be given at the initial 15 minute introductory telephone stage. This is due to insurance purposes.
Fees must be paid via bank transfer 48 hours before the first consultation. The consent forms, health questionnaire and diet diaries should also be emailed to me at least 48 hours before the consultation. This allows me time to analyse and prepare for the your tailored 1-1 consultation, saving time asking questions and we can focus on your health goals. If not paid or paperwork emailed in time, the appointment will need to be postponed. Cancelled or postponed appointments will be charged for, without 48 hours notice. No fee for re-scheduling the appointment with more than 48 hours notice. Unfortunately no refunds are offered if you cancel all appointments and questionnaire has been submitted.
All clients must read and sign the BANT terms and GDPR documents before the consultation (see more details below and emailed to you).
Clients must fully understand that a Nutritional Therapist cannot claim to ‘diagnose’, ‘treat’, 'cure' or ‘heal’ any medical disease. Recommendations cannot guarantee improvements and in many cases we are looking to improve gut health and symptoms, and control/ manage IBS. Results vary from individual to individual and also depend on your motivation and consistency implementing lifestyle changes. If medically diagnosed with a condition, always consult a doctor/ other medical practitioner before implementing any changes or taking supplements, particularly if you are on prescriptive medication. The information provided within a consultation is for educational purposes and should not replace medical advice.
Prior to the initial consultation you will be asked to complete a questionnaire and 3 or 7 day food diary that may take some time to complete. Please make this a priority as this is how I tailor your IBS protocol. This saves a lot of time during the consultation, to focus on key areas of concern and allow you more time to discuss.
Following the consultations, brief emails are welcomed, and phone call appointments at weekly intervals if needed. Depending on the nature, if complex, may need to be discussed in the next appointment.
